OPENING THE PASSAGES

Presentation Programmation & distribution Video

The distant voice of Anath, opened by Zad Moultaka, takes us to ancient Ugarit as if the music came from a manuscript dating from 4000 BC. It is a crossing towards Où en est la nuit, a space of sounds breathing feverishly in the heart of human violence, going through the expanse of night, being distorted, and deteriorating in a moment of extreme tension. For the American Michelle Lou (1975), the passages in Burial will occur in the very interior of the musical texture, which, although exposed like a continuous element, questions the articulations of density, different temporalities and singular psychological outlines. As for the Pole Agata Zubel (1978), with Streets of a Human City, a work both colourful and energetic, she guides us through the mazes and meanders of the individual's mind.
