It is always a delight to watch new creative endeavors being confirmed. Composers Oriol Saladrigues and Olivier Rappoport started the Mixtur festival in 2012. Invited for the second time, the Ensemble 2e2m, in this seventh edition of the festival, is reviving Fou by Saladrigues, created in Paris, and, staying into madness, Esercizio di Pazzia 2 (Exercise of madness) by Italian composer Francesco Filidei. Also on the program: the prima assoluta of a mixed piece by the young French composer Julien Malaussena (1980), Cascando by Pascal Dusapin (1955), Hirn & Ei by German composer Carola Bauckholt and Mother Lode III by Polish composer Agata Zubel (1978) as well as two miniatures composed at Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop 2018.
